LA Pride Month is finally back and better than ever. While we’re nearly two weeks into the festivities, have no fear — there are several more events you can attend until the end of June. From an epic Christina Aguilera performance at LA Pride in the Park to an entire Pride-dedicated day (and night!) at Universal Studios Hollywood, there are countless ways to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Los Angeles. We’ve detailed what, when, and where you need to be so you can tackle this month’s event calendar with ease and, well, PRIDE of course — all below.

LA Pride in the Park

WHAT: One of the biggest and most popular days during Pride Month, LA Pride in the Park is a festival-style event featuring a full afternoon and evening of music, activities, vendors and exhibitor booths, sponsor activations, food and drink, and 21-and-over beer gardens. This year’s headliner is none other than Christina Aguilera, with additional performances from artists like Syd, Anitta, Chika, Michaela Jaé, and so many more.
WHEN: June 11, 2022 — 1pm-11pm
WHERE: Los Angeles State Historic Park — 1245 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012

LA Pride Parade in Hollywood

WHAT: The original and always iconic LA Pride Parade will weave through the streets of Hollywood on Sunday to celebrate its 50th anniversary with over 130 parade floats, marchers, trucks, exotic cars, twirlers, performers, and more. This year’s Grand Marshals include Sir Lady Java, Mark Indelicato, and Paula Abdul. Be sure to get there early to claim a post along the route, and after the parade, head over to Pride Village (located on Hollywood Boulevard between Cahuenga and Vine) for an epic block party!
WHEN: June 12, 2022 — Step-off at 10:30am
WHERE: Hollywood Boulevard and Cahuenga to Highland → south on Highland to Sunset Boulevard → east on Sunset to Cahuenga

Pride is Universal

WHAT: Pride is Universal is making its long-awaited return to Universal Studios. With a general admission or VIP ticket, guests can arrive as early as 4pm to experience a number of rides and attractions (which will be open solely for event-goers) and stay as late as 1am for an exclusive after-hours party. Three DJs will be spinning tracks throughout the park; Universal Plaza will feature a drag show on the Main Stage; select stores, restaurants, and cash bars will be open for biz; and so much more. Only a limited number of tickets are available for $99, which is $30 less than GA, so get yours before they’re gone!
WHEN: June 24, 2022 — 4pm-1am
WHERE: Universal Studios Hollywood — 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608

Made with PRIDE

WHAT: Santa Monica Place is hosting a unique pop-up in partnership with Streelet to showcase over 15 LGBTQIA+ business owners, spotlighting their stories, products, and services. Each business features artisan goods made right here in SoCal, and all vendors will retain 100% of their sales! Made with PRIDE will also feature art installations by Amanda Wallace, special workshops throughout the month, and a DJ spinning every weekend in June where attendees can dance between “Lanterns of Love.”

This summer pride event will feature an outdoor picnic space with tunes by DJ Nico Craig, drag performances by Amber Crane and Lauren Banall, and vogue shows from Chauncey Dominique.
