Collab Envy: SBP’s Favorite Designer x Home Brand Collections

Tacos & Tequila

10/6/20

We’re all about collaboration on the SBP team. Even from home, we’re still offering one another the crucial support to learn, grow and succeed because, as you know, teamwork makes the dream work. But this synergism transcends far beyond real estate, too. We’ve been particularly invested in the recent movement of top designers (from those in fashion to interiors) joining forces with popular home brands. Because who said you’re stuck in a box? Certainly not us. Check out our favorite collabs below, shop their epic home goods and find the inspiration to break barriers — in whatever it is that you do.

David Rockwell x Stellar Works

What happens when renowned architect and designer David Rockwell — whose roster includes global hospitality projects like Nobu and W Hotels — turns to Stellar Works for a furniture collection? Simply put, magic. Known as the Valet Collection, the collab features minimalistic pieces that merge functionality and elements of surprise to activate transitional spaces. Think tubular metal, brass and hand-wrapped leather. Talk about a match made in design heaven.

Amber Lewis x Anthropologie

Interior designer Amber Lewis is highly coveted for her light, bright, laidback California aesthetic — so you better believe her Anthropologie collection is nothing short of chic. Featuring neutral tones and cozy fabrics, her pieces are designed with care and intention to inspire a meaningful connection to the furniture you bring into your home. We couldn’t envision a more perfect, widely-accessible collab if we tried.

Kara Mann x CB2

Described by The Wall Street Journal as a “sparkplug in the world of design,” interior designer Kara Mann makes her own rules. Her impactful, refined interiors drawn inspiration from art, architecture and fashion, so you better believe her collaboration with CB2 offers a fresh take on the brand’s iconic, modern design. Offering rolled arm sofas, mirror tables and other contrasting pieces, Kara Mann’s collection deserves a spot in your home.

Jason Wu x Interior Define

You know fashion designer Jason Wu for his sophisticated ready-to-wear clothing. But what you likely don’t know is that he teamed up with custom furniture brand Interior Define to design a collection of epic mid-century, modern-inspired pieces. The designer hand-picked his favorite fabrics and finish customizations, and totally reinvented the iconic exposed wood frame sofa to stand the test of time. Basically what we’re trying to say is that if you purchase one of his pieces, we’ll never blame you for being a couch potato.
