Wow. What an amazing, endless delight it has been to work with Dave and F. Ron and the entire Smith & Berg Team. It took us a loooooong time to find our house and Dave and F. Ron were so incredibly patient, professional and forgiving when we could never land on a place. Then when we all did finally find our dream home, we could not have asked for better realtors. They were available every hour of the day and night. They held our hand through every single question we had. They worked very well with the sellers. And they made sure that every inspection, every escrow document, every moment of stress was handled without a hitch. They also helped us sell our other house at the same time! And every suggestion they had for what to fix, change, paint, landscape was dead on! They were able to sell our house off of the very first open house!
These two men are so charming, funny, big hearted and kind. (they also have excellent taste in food and wine if you need any suggestions.) We truly could not imagine working with a better team. Smith + Berg are the absolute best. Me and the wife met David on a random open house, were between agents at the time, and had had a bad experience recently so we didn't feel like committing to anyone else just then.
David earned our trust through his work. He asked us what exactly we were looking for, and from that moment on only suggested houses that matched that criteria. As opposed to taking us anywhere and saying we could just build another room in the garage. While that may seem standard practice, it hadn't at all been for us.
Once set on making an offer on a property, not only David and F. Ron, but Courtney, Nathalie, Garrett and everyone on their team walked us through each step of the process, were firmly on our side during escrow, and helped us bring it home.
And when we say "walked us through" we mean it, me and the wife both being foreigners, we dropped the ball more than once with all these fancy American protocols, and they either never lost their patience with us, or never let us know it. Either works for us. Would 100% work with them again. (Although I hope the wife doesn't make us move any time soon tbh)
