Birdie G’s | Santa Monica
This is one of the Westside’s most iconic dinner spots (shoutout to Chef Jeremy Fox), and lucky for dog owners, their large patio is totally pet-friendly. Come for the matzo ball soup and housemade soft serve, stay for the laid-back vibe and water bowls at the ready.

Playa Provisions | Playa del Rey
Just steps from the sand, Playa Provisions is a local gem where you can grab everything from coffee to cocktails to lobster rolls — and the spacious outdoor seating means your pup is welcome to hang out while you do it. Bonus: There’s often a fresh breeze off the water to keep everyone cool.
Broad Street Oyster Co. | Malibu
PCH is now reopened and Broad Street Oyster Co. is drive-worthy. The outdoor setup is super casual, super delicious (the lobster roll is the move), and super dog-friendly. Bring your pup and post up on the patio after a beach walk or a morning at Malibu Bluffs Park.
Ashland Hill | Santa Monica
Tucked off Main Street, this laid-back bar and kitchen has one of the best dog-friendly patios in town. The team here loves dogs so much, they’ll usually bring your pup a water bowl before your drink even hits the table.

Venice’s beloved bakery-meets-deli-meets-hangout spot has a patio that feels like your cool friend’s backyard, complete with farmhouse tables and plenty of dogs underfoot. Grab a coffee, split a smoked fish plate, and let your pup soak up the scene.

Santa Monica’s private dog park-slash-social club is where pups come to play and people come to chill. Think off-leash mingling, cute photo ops, and events like Yappy Hour and dog-friendly movie nights. If you haven’t been yet, consider this your sign.
