Each year, Variety Magazine singles out America’s go-to real estate agents and teams in the industry and, in typical fashion, the Smith & Berg Partners team was ranked amongst 2019’s Showbiz Real Estate Elite. The feature highlights SBP’s near $220 million in sales in 2018, as well as the team’s most recent high-profile listings—from TV producer Larry Lyttle’s home at 781 Ranch Lane to actor Stephen Dorff’s beachfront property at 21640 Pacific Coast Highway.

As if SBP’s ranking among REAL Trends’ top 250 in the nation wasn’t enough, the renowned real estate media company included Smith & Berg Partners among their list of America’s best real estate teams by sales volume. SBP stole a highly coveted spot at #37 on an absolutely massive list of 670 teams, lauding the team for an impressive $171,177,633 in sales for 2018.
Smith & Berg Partners Recognized as 2019 Top Luxury Real Estate Agents in LA County
The Real Deal recently ranked the highest-performing luxury brokers between March 1, 2018 and February 28, 2019, analyzing single-family home sales of $4 million and higher to identify the 20 top-producing agents in Los Angeles. And, who do you think came in 12th place? Smith & Berg Partners was recognized by The Real Deal for a significant $131.1 million in sales volume, granting the team an epic stamp of approval.
This ‘Friends’ Producer Just Listed His Malibu Beach Compound for $14 Million
Acclaimed luxury lifestyle publication Robb Report caught wind of our Broad Beach listing and could hardly hold back their excitement for the 4,190-square-foot Malibu retreat from owner and producer Kevin Bright. The full article gives a rundown of the home’s sweet multi-level terrace, saltwater pool and, of course, 80 feet of beach frontage, explaining that “outdoor California living doesn’t get much better.” We just so happen to agree.
Actor Stephen Dorff’s Malibu Beach House Surfs Up for $8 Million
Back in February, Forbes featured SBP’s beachfront listing at 21640 Pacific Coast Highway in an article highlighting actor Stephen Dorff’s Mid-Century Modern digs. Designed by the ever-iconic Buff & Hensman duo in 1968, The Brown House is an architectural tour-de-force that writer Keith Flamer explains “has a Mad Men-ish vibe, a retro ‘1960s modern’ aesthetic—a bygone era that’s become hip again, glamorized by groovy furniture, a fireplace, wood cabinets, wood ceilings, shag carpets, and textured square tile floors.”
Top Sales: Smith & Berg Partners Scores Highest Price Sale in Brentwood
Earlier this year, Smith & Berg Partners scored the highest price sale in Brentwood in the Los Angeles Times. Located on Walther Way, the $14.6 million abode is described as “farmhouse style and features gray-painted vertical siding that accentuates the home’s tall, symmetrical front,” sitting on more than half an acre of land. Smith & Berg Partners’ sale of Stephen Dorff’s Malibu architectural, set on 40 feet of oceanfront on La Costa Beach, caught the attention of none other than the Los Angeles Times. Featured as the publication’s “Hot Property,” the Midcentury Modern-style home—located at 21640 Pacific Coast Highway—is noted for post-and-beam architecture, plus owner Stephen Dorff’s acclaim on the screen (fresh off his run on HBO’s True Detective).
